I used my credit card with a PIN not knowing it was a credit card transaction. I was charged hundreds of dollars in cash advance fees. I cancelled the card and paid it off prior to the due date and they charged me another 30 days worth of interest on the entire balance. The first time I called to rectify it the man I spoke with insisted it was correct and it was being charged at a periodic daily rate. I then calculated the interest on my own to prove they charged me for another 30 days. I then called back and the represenative told me she was going to waive it. I am reporting this so that other consumers are not abused by their interest calculation methods. XXXX and First Bankcard.
