A man named XXXX XXXX from a company he referred to as JMS Associates has called the receptionists at my new job 5 times this past week to claim he is attempting to collect a debt.
This is either a fraudulent attempt to collect a non-existent debt ( I have never been contact by JMS Associates at any time previously until XXXX XXXX began calling me at work ) or it is a tact planned to place me in an awkward position at my new job ; for if JMS has a legitimate debt to collect, they have received my personal contact information from the original creditor and I believe they should be using this information properly instead of contacting me at my place of employment every day.
