This is a debt that resulted from a ride in an ambulance from a hit and run that I did n't authorize. I was grazed by a car but was fine. The ambulance drivers, instead of just checking me out on the scene, handcuffed me to the ambulance and drove me to the hospital where I was checked out and released an hour later with nothing wrong with me. This is how the over XXXX in collections have occurred on my credit report which has jeopardized my ability to get a home loan at the best rate. i have even offered to pay half and share the expense ( even though I should not owe anything ) and was denied.
