Status of my Account reported to the XXXX credit bureaus XXXX not what was promised in my settlement agreement with XXXX Bank - Status currently shown as " Charge Off '', Settlement Letter Stipulates " Settled in Full '' XXXX XXXX Bank through its designated agent XXXX XXXX sent me a settlement offer stating if the amount requested was paid, my account would be " settled in full '' I paid the amount and met my side of the agreement. To this date, XXXX Bank is saying they do not have to report the status of my account as " Settled in Full '' I feel I have been defruaded by a bait and switch tactic taking advantage of someone just coming out of 4 years of unemployement due to the recession and trying to clean up the damage to my credit caused by unemployment ; offers to report the status positively as " Settled in Full '' to get the money and after recieving the money reneges on their agreement letterSee attached letters
