We had a Macy 's Store/American Express Credit Card and I had a purchase that I had made in later XXXX, 2015. The billing came due on XXXX/XXXX/15 and I had forgot about the purchase. I was paperless for the credit card, but never received an email or notification until the account was over 30 days past due and they had sent the card to the credit bureau. I as so angry as I had not had a late charge on anything for over 15 years. I am sure it has messed up my credit score. The lady at the card company just brushed it off saying that its not their responsibility since I made the purchase. I asked about the emails and she said they were sent. However, I never received XXXX email. They were rude and were not willing to do a thing. I have paid off the billing and have since closed the card and will never again open a Macy 's Charge.
