My mother received a voicemail stating that somebody was looking to have me served with court papers and they were going to serve me on my job or at home and a claim number and toll free number was left on her voicemail wanting to verify social security information as well. My Mom called me frantic and upset, scared that I was going to get locked up. XXXX when did these type of third party scare tactics become permissible by companies, associated vendors, or third party collection agencies? XXXX different organizations are involved in this situation an alleged legal courier, a collection agency and the XXXX XXXX shop.
