Bank account or service Savings account

Complaint #1414106 submitted on 06/10/2015 relating to State Employee's Credit Union. Complaint relates to Bank account or service Savings account - Deposits and withdrawals .

Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Wednesday 10th June 2015.

Narrative (may be redacted).

A hold was placed on my saving account ( XXXX ) because my institution said I was making more than XXXX transfers a month. XXXX, XXXX XXXX, 2015 I was stranded in XXXX NC with no idea what was going on. When I was finally able to get speak to someone. I was informed I am being penalized or punished because I have made to many transfers. First, I never knew it was wrong to use money I work hard for. Second, because the bank put a hold on my account, and closed off my savings as my overdraft account, they caused my checking to have NSF. Then they charged me NSF fees for something they did. How do you penalize, and steal from hard working people who need their money. I can see if the money was n't in my accounts, but to do intentional damage to your client ; and, then penalize them for your actions in wrong. I pay my bills online, because I work long hours ; and, to be told you ca n't get any money via the ATM, and you ca n't use your ATM card is wrong. I work hours that exceed normal bank hours ; and, it 's wrong to penalize hard working, law abiding citizens ; and, then justify stealing their money because of a hold you placed on them. I have money in my account, and I want my money back for those NSF fees.
