Receiving calls from Oxford Law LLC making a claim that I have a debt of over {$29.00} from a line of credit I opened in XXXX with XXXX Bank. That is over 21 years ago, I remember no such account. In XXXX when this debt was supposedly incurred, I was living in XXXX. In XXXX I moved to XXXX and lived there for 10 years. In XXXX or XXXX I filed for bankruptcy in XXXX Court in XXXX and had my debts resolved. According to Oxford Law, they have been trying to contact me but have been unable to do so for years. Even though I have moved a XXXX of times, I have ALWAYS left forwarding addresses and have had no trouble being contacted by any other businesses. Oxford Law even called my exwife hasselling her to find where I live and how to get ahold of me. I was initially contacted in XXXX by XXXX XXXX XXXX a law clerk at Oxford Law who said she needed to verify my personal information, etc. She did not give an address to reply to or would not state specifically what the debt was for. I did not hear anything more for 2 or 3 weeks. Starting on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX a man called and wanted to verify my information. He did not identify himself, or state who he was working for and kept wanting me to make plans to start paying on the debt or a suit would be filed against me. I told him that I needed information from him such as name and address, company he works for, what his position is and told him that I have the right to question and demand verification of the debt. He said he would email me that information. That was XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and today is XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and I have received nothing email or otherwise. Tonight, on my phone I noticed he had called again but left no message. I attempted to call him back at XXXX and was sent to the company mail box and told to leave a message. When I tried to do so. I was cut off.
