Wells Fargo will not let you pay a mortgage off at any of it 's branches. You must call a number to get your payoff amount. Then you must ( " XXXX a check or wire the money to them " ) this is what I was told. I pushed back and they said If they took the interest out several days the payoff would change but I could mail the check. Now you mean to tell me they do n't have the ability to do this in branch. They accepted every other payment on my mortgage at the branch.
