Complaint #1409733 submitted on 06/07/2015 relating to Wells Fargo & Company. Complaint relates to Bank account or service Checking account - Using a debit or ATM card .
Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Sunday 7th June 2015.
To Whom It May Concern at the CFPB : I am a Wells Fargo customer, and when I used a non-Wells Fargo ATM, I was charged something like {$3.00} to withdraw {$20.00}. I understood that I would be charged that amount and agreed to pay it even though I consider the amount of the fee an obscenity.
When I received my next feed statement from Wells Fargo, I saw that Wells Fargo had charged me an additional {$2.00} to withdraw {$20.00} from a non-Wells Fargo ATM.
I am writing to complain about the Wells Fargo fee, which I did not know about at the time I withdrew the money. Such a fee is gouging.
Can your organization get Wells Fargo and other banks to stop such gouging?
