An apartment complex is attempting to collect fees associated with the unit we ( my now wife and I ) shared for repairs which the apartment complex refused to fix during the time we lived there. My wife filed for bankruptcy in 2012 and the amount owed was discharged. The credit bureaus and the collection agency are refusing to remove the debt. Louisiana bankruptcy laws considered the debt community property and even though I did n't file, it is to be discharged for the full amount.
