Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Thursday 21st May 2015.
A representative of Municipal Services Bureau called me saying that I owed $ 1,000+ for unpaid traffic tickets and that a warrant had been issued for my arrest. When I explained that I have no unpaid traffic tickets and that in fact had not received a ticket in 8 yrs ( which had been paid off ), I was told that I still owed them money unless I provided proof of having paid off the ticket. At this point I terminated the conversation.
Upon checking for outstanding warrants under my name on the internet, I found that there were none. I can only guess that the representatives are told to say this in effort to extort money from people. I have a feeling that what they are doing is illegal but I am not positive.
