Complaint #1382939 submitted on 05/19/2015 relating to Sarma. Complaint relates to Debt collection Medical - Disclosure verification of debt Right to dispute notice not received.
Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Tuesday 19th May 2015.
I am XXXX military, I was listed as a primary on my daughters medical account for an urgent care visit she had in XXXX. Being XXXX, and having XXXX we have {$0.00} patient responsibility for any Emergency or Urgent Care visits, with or without referral.
The original debt claim was from XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX/XXXX/XXXX for my daughter, this debt was sold to SARMA Collections on XXXX. We have since moved from XXXX XXXX ( Early XXXX ) We never received notices from XXXX care that this debt was being submitted to SARMA, nor a notice from SARMA allowing us time to request proof of debt, so we could have properly disputed ... Never received a phone call, only a XXXX notice post marked XXXX/XXXX/XXXX stating it would report to our credit which it did on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX.
I am upset and feel neglect because not only am I XXXX, and protected by the SCRA but HAD this agency, " SARMA '' done their proper research they would have NOT placed this on my credit, which is permanent. Instead they could have done more due-diligence to collect this in the proper way as a XXXX-party.
