Caller was from XXXX and XXXX. Called me on my cell phone which I did not provide express consent to call with an automated dialer. This is a violation of the TCPA. The name of the organization left in the automated message implied a lawfirm, which is in my opinion unfair and deceitful. When I returned the call, I was informed this was a purchased debt from a XXXX deficiency, and is way past statute. I was not given the mini-Miranda, was not provided a written notice within 5 days of my right to dispute the validity of the debt. FDCPA violationsVerbally informed them they do not have my consent and if they thought they did, I revoke permission to call me on my cell phone.
