I did receive notification of debt, however, I was not given my full XXXX days to dispute. I called the day I received the validation letter XXXX/XXXX/15. I asked what this was for as I had never received anything other then this letter, they said a XXXX item could n't tell me what it was for. I advised them I would contact my insurance company and said if this is a sling I will dispute the charges. I contacted ins. They tried to reach out to the original client about what the item was because they themselves had denied the claim but she did n't know why either. They were unable to reach out to the due to the fact that they were closed. I called the next day and advised Aargon on XXXX/XXXX/15 and spoke with an XXXX or XXXX ( ca n't remember the name ) and advised them that I was disputing the debt. Verbally, I said this has no effected the credit report and he said no but I needed send in writing I dispute the debt and I only have a week in a half to do so implying to me that it would effect my credit. According to the FDCPA I have a XXXX day validation period to dispute the debt from the day I receive the validation notice not when they get the account in their office. According to the FDCPA the collection agency can not make the consumer think the XXXX Validation Period does n't exist, and the debt collector nor the agency can overshadow the validation period. I had called the day prior stating that I just got the letter. On this day I also asked for an itemization to further explain what the charge was for. On XXXX/XXXX/15 I received an " itemization letter '' stating nothing more then what I was told on the phone " XXXX ''. On that same day I called back and spoke with a XXXX who told me that is all they show. In the conversation he stated well you just said that you were told something different on the phone then in the letter and I advised him no I said I was told the exact same thing which did n't tell me anything on the phone and seeing the same thing in writing does n't tell me anything different. He basically told me I was a liar when he just misheard what I said. That is harassment according to the FDCPA.
I had n't spoken with this agency again until XXXX/XXXX/15 to get the names of the individuals and spoke with XXXX who then trans me to the Operations Manager XXXX XXXX I asked him for the names of the individuals I had spoken with he refused to give them to me stating it is proprietary information and he only collects information. Advised him that FDCPA had been broken I was going to file a complaint he advised me I could sent that to him in writing but still refused to give me any information I asked to speak with his supervisor and he said that would be the owner and gave me his name.
