XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX I was a victim of identity theft. The person at the time worked for me in my house. They passed away XX/XX/XXXX and I started receiving calls for accounts that I had never opened. I filed an ID theft affidavit with the FTC and a police report. Most of the collectors ceased collection attempts after notification. Professional Credit Service ( PCS ) has continually harassed me about this debt since XX/XX/XXXX even after they have been provided the ID theft affidavit and the police report. Now they have sent me a letter stating they are going to sue me because I have not responded. I am attaching XXXX XXXX showing that I responded XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. I also filed the reports with the credit bureaus XX/XX/XXXX and had to have security freezes put on my reports. I do n't understand why they are still harassing me on a debt that is not mine.
