Can my debt collector place a lean on my daughters car that i co-signed for her?
A debt collector bought a credit card debt, got judgment in my absence and is trying to collect it by placing a lean on my daughters car that i cosigned for her. she pays the car loan and I do not own the car. Is it legal for the judge to allow them to place this lean on my daughters car?
