Complaint #1732696 submitted on 01/07/2016 relating to NIC, Inc.. Complaint relates to Debt collection Other (i.e. phone, health club, etc.) - Cont'd attempts collect debt not owed Debt is not mine.

Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Thursday 21st January 2016.

Narrative (may be redacted).

Nemo 's collection XXXX has a debt listed on my credit report that is not mine. I never signed a contract or entered into any contract with the people who owe this debt. I have disputed this with XXXX XXXX and Nemo 's to no avail. I have been unable to get credit or a loan due to this horrible ding on my credit report.

I have attached the letter I sent to Nemo 's requesting all copies of said contract, etc. They did not send anything but a statement requesting payment.
Further exploring by a family law official exposed the fact that this debt was discharged in a bankruptcy and is in the public records. I have also included the letter with the case number, as well as other supporting documentation.
