Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Tuesday 29th December 2015.
I never give out my work number as I am not allowed calls at work. I received a call today XXXX XXXX, 2015 from a XXXX at XXXX XXXX stating he needed the last XXXX of my social security number or he needed to verify my address I asked who he was collecting on behalf of as the debts I do have I am working directly with the people I owe and have payment arrangements. He stated he is not allowed to tell me until I give him the last XXXX of my social security or my street address. I said you can send me something in writing but he states they did. I have nothing from ACEI in any form of writing, I asked him when he mailed it he said by asking that question I verified my address..???? What?
He also said he was calling my home number and I asked him to verify what number he had and he told me he can not give out my home number either. So how am I supposed to verify what they are calling me about without giving information to someone I know nothing about?
