I took out a loan ( {$480.00} ) with Fortiva XXXX company for an iphone that was merged with XXXX company. The loan was for 6 months at {$35.00} per month beginning XXXX/XXXX/2015. I made my payment through my online banking system XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, the online banking sends a check ( check # XXXX ) was mailed to Fortiva XXXX in the amount of {$100.00}. The address mailed to was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, MO XXXX. Fortiva company cashed the check and it cleared in my bank account on XXXX/XXXX/15. Company sent a text on XXXX XXXX, 2015 saying that my payment was due on XXXX/XXXX/2015. I contacted the company on XXXX/XXXX/2015 and spoke with representative XXXX, and informed him that my payment was sent and check cleared in my bank on XXXX/XXXX/2015. He asked me to fax a copy of the check that cleared in my account. I faxed a copy of cleared check to Fortiva Research department fax # XXXX immediately ( XXXX/XXXX/2015 ). I followed up with a call to make sure they received my fax. They confirmed that fax was received. I followed up a few days later again, and representative told me that it 's still in payment research. Today, XXXX/XXXX/2015, I received a call from the representative saying that they did n't receive payment and it 's past due. I spoke with supervisor XXXX XXXX and he assured me that this issue will be cleared up in a day or two from him personally and he will give me a call back. I 'm filing my complaint now because I read online that someone else had the same issue with Fortiva XXXX and they have ruined their credit. I 'm taking precautionary measures before this is reported on my credit account.
