Loan Officer directed Buyer and Selelr to schedule a closing for XXXX XXXX. Closing is scheduled. TCF bank has not answered phone calls or responded to emails regarding the status of borrower 's loan application for more than two weeks and closing is now 2 days away. Loan may possibly have been denied at underwriting level but since TCF is not corresponding / communication with buyer or buyer 's lawyer, we can not know for sure. Buyer is about to default on contract for purchase of property due to lender 's refusal to share this information
