Complaint #1717154 submitted on 12/26/2015 relating to Continental Finance Company, LLC. Complaint relates to Credit card - Billing disputes .
Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Saturday 26th December 2015.
I received my credit card statement, from Continental Finance on XXXX/XXXX/15 and noticed there was a late fee of {$35.00} applied to my account. I spoke to XXXX and I explained how there was a delay with my bank sending the payment. XXXX, the supervisor, waived the late fee for XX/XX/XXXX. My XX/XX/XXXX statement, shows another late fee of {$35.00}. I asked XXXX why there was another late fee, and she said because I did not pay the {$75.00} for XX/XX/XXXX. I told her, I paid the {$35.00} and the other {$35.00} was from the XX/XX/XXXX late fee that was waived. So they billed me a late fee, on top of a late fee that was waived. The XX/XX/XXXX bill, was paid on XXXX/XXXX/15, in the amount of {$35.00}. I sent in a dispute, explaining the issue, and received a letter back, stating the charges were correct, which they are not. Now, I get my XX/XX/XXXX bill, and it has another late fee of {$35.00} on top of the erroneous late fee for XX/XX/XXXX After the XX/XX/XXXX payment, I paid the XX/XX/XXXX payment on XX/XX/XXXX, and the XX/XX/XXXX payment was paid on XX/XX/XXXX. Continental Finance keeps charging me a late fee from the late fee for XXXX, in which I clearly do not owe. Please review the attached correspondence and supporting documentation and it is evident that I do not owe these XXXX late fees of {$35.00} for XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX.
