After pulling my credit report in XXXX, I notice a few accounts with a huge outstanding balance owed to Meridian Financial. I contacted Meridian Financial on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. I spoke to XXXX about options for a plan to pay off the obligation. At that time, she said l would have to pay a lump sum of {$3000.00} in order for the account holder to look at the possibility for payment.



I called Meridian Financial on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and spoke with XXXX. I asked XXXX about my Credit Report and that it stated that I owe {$7500.00} and XXXX accounts. He informed me that the total is {$9400.00} and XXXX accounts on his records. XXXX stated that Meridian Finical Services a lump sum of {$3000.00} by XXXX/XXXX/XXXX or they are going to put more stuff on my credit report. Also, they could n't work with a payment plan until I pay {$3000.00} to possibly get approve for a payment arrangement.



I spoke to XXXX at XXXX XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX at XXXX am. He told me that there is no one at XXXX XXXX can help me or speak to me about the account due to the delinquent status. He informed me to call Meridian Financial Services at XXXX ( but the # 's I have on file is XXXX ). I informed him the reason I contacted him due to not getting help with a payment plan from Meridian Financial Services and that I will be filing a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. He then gave me an email to contact the General Manager : XXXXXXXXXXXX. He then thanked me and said " have a good day ''.



At XXXX XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, I spoke to XXXX at Meridian Financial Services about the situation and he forward me to XXXX XXXX, where I left a voice mail at XXXX XXXX requesting a statement summary.



I was not confident that XXXX XXXX would call me back so I called again at XXXX XXXX and spoke with XXXX. He looked at my account and said about the same thing. I asked if he could give me a summary of my account so I can visually see what is going on with my account. He said he could not and is not allowed to give me a statement of account or a letter with the proposal for repayment.

I researched the complaints on this site and there are XXXX complaints against Meridian Financial Services listed in the database.
