Narrative (may be redacted).

My wife and I have been members of American Express Gold Card since XX/XX/XXXX. WIthout our consent or knowledge they started sending us XXXX Books periodically. For years we assumed it was a side benefit with the Gold Card Status. In XX/XX/XXXX my wife called and canceled the subscription. The book kept coming. Last year we called AMEX again and they said we 'd have to take it up with the publisher which we did. The book kept coming. We received a billing this year for {$44.00}. I sent a refure the charge to AMEX. We did n't get the book the next period, XX/XX/XXXX. Today while doiing a search of our expenses I fould they had started charging us {$44.00}. This occured twice on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. We called XXXX and talked to XXXX ( no further ID was given ) He said he would cancel any product coming from them. However he could not refund any of our payments. When I talk to AMEX they say talk to the publisher. WHen I received the XX/XX/XXXX charge I complained and they refunded one payment, but continued charing us in XX/XX/XXXX.
