I Deposited XXXX checks at a TCF Bank that I received from a online casino. ( Winnings ) They said it would need to clear casino account before I could withdraw any funds, understandable I said. Total of XXXX chks {$6000.00} I checked with the bank XXXX XXXX later and checks were good, no problem.
Another time I took a larger check ( cashiers ) for {$12000.00} from a online casino. ( winnings ) they said I had to pay them {$120.00} to get verified & same wait to clear!! I questioned it but they insisted so I paid the fee, checked XXXX XXXX later the bank said the check was a fraud.
I never withdrew any funds nor did I receive the check back either, now I see they reported on my credit ( XXXX XXXX ) record as a bad check!!!!!
