Credit reporting

Complaint #1796760 submitted on 02/21/2016 relating to Experian. Complaint relates to Credit reporting - Credit reporting company's investigation Problem with statement of dispute.

Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Sunday 21st February 2016.

Narrative (may be redacted).

I have filed a dispute twice with Experian advising them that information reported by XXXX XXXX is not correct and should be removed. This is common sense. In XXXX XXXX I took a {$56000.00} loan to buy a truck. It was a 42 month loan. I defaulted on the loan. That we all agree on that, but XXXX does not report a " date of first delinquency '' at all and reports a charge off date of XXXX XXXX and paid as agreed XXXX XXXX. So I submitted a dispute twice to Experian questioning 1. How could I have first been late starting the 7 year clock XXXX XXXX when the maximum maturity of the loan would have been XXXX XXXX. Remember the loan is 42 months. XXXX XXXX plus 42 months is XXXX XXXX. No one can be late in the XXXX year of a 3yr loan. That 's nonsense on its face. Also in the Experian file the payment history is marked paid as agreed XXXX XXXX and charged off XXXX XXXX. Does anyone believe a loan can go from paid as agreed to charged off in one month? But as I mentioned earlier, these dates are nonsense because the loan was 42 months. XXXX XXXX would be the XXXX month of a 42 month loan. But in any case that point is almost moot because the law requires the clock to start at the date of first delinquency not the charge off date. I ask Experian about the XXXX and XXXX history because that is material to my dispute and they admit they do n't know. They are in clear violation of the law because the information they have makes no sense, its incomplete or either unverifiable. I seek immediate removal of this information.
