I filed a case with CFPB on XXXX/XXXX/15 ( case number XXXX ) with Mariner Finance. The business stated in the complaint " Mariner Finance can confirm that XXXX XXXX 's account is paid in full and his paid document will be sent to him. '' I have received XXXX bills from this company stating money is still owed and to mail payment. I checked my credit reports and they are reporting to XXXX that I owe {$180.00} and they have been charging monthly late fees of {$30.00} per month. As promised in the prior case, they never sent me any documentation nor have I done any further business with this company yet they continue to charge me a monthly late fee and the first complaint stated they waived the final {$24.00} due as a good faith gesture so I do not understand where this {$180.00} came from when they stated account was closed and no money was owed.
