BARCLAY 'S BANK OPERATED A MASTERCARD ACCOUNT FOR US AIRWAYS.
I WAS PROMISED XXXX COMPANION TICKETS WHICH WERE NEVER PROVIDED.
I WAS BILLED A YEARLY FEE IN THE SECOND YEAR WHICH WAS SENT TO ME LATE.
THIS TRIGGERED A LATE FEE.
WHEN I LEARNED OF IT, I SPOKE TO AN ASSOCIATE WHO SAID I COULD CALL BACK IN A FEW DAYS TO DECIDE IF I WANTED TO KEEP THE ACCOUNT.
HOWEVER, THIS WAS UNTRUE AS MY ACCOUNT WAS FLAGGED AS OVERDUE AND DESPITE PAYING EVERY DIME OF THE FEES AND CANCELING THE ACCOUNT, IT WAS STILL REPORTED AS DELINQUENT TO THE CREDIT BUREAU AFFECTING MY XXXX CREDIT SCORE!
