I applied for and was approved for a loan with Avant Credit, issued by XXXX on or around XX/XX/XXXX. At time of application/loan approval, terms were not disclosed such as interest rate, which is a high 35.9 %. This was found out about after it appeared on Avant website, it did not previously show before. Ive been making payments on the loan and they do not begin to cover the principal due to high interest rate. My credit score was in the mid to high XXXX range at time of opening and my rate should be based on that score and not 35.9 %. A XXXX complaint ( XXXX ) complaint was filed, however, not resolved. Avant rep ( s ) claim terms were disclosed to me and were not. I just received the full terms via email after asking a rep for them, these were not sent to me before. I did speak with a XXXX XXXX and unfortunately, was unable to resolve the matter. My XXXX claims he has screen shots showing terms, rate, etc.. However, it is highly unlikely he knows what appeared on my end, on my computer, at time of application. Had I known about this high interest rate I would not have applied as I will be paying back more than double the loan amount after the term ends. Please note, do not mark this as duplicate as there is additional information enclosed.
