Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Wednesday 2nd December 2015.
Company has called and harassed family members after being asked to dispute the claim for validity and after telling me that they would no longer contact me or my family members. Stating the company owning the debt would call after it was sent back. The company then proceeded to call family and tell them they were trying to get a hold of me for passing bad checks. I personally talked to XXXX people and my husband talked to XXXX all stating something different. The last female stated she would put it in dispute status and the phone calls would stop. They continued to tell us they were not able to give out any information on the company that holds the debt. They also stated they would only have the debt for 5 days and they could not send me a letter with the information regarding the debt, therefore I could not formally dispute the debt in writing like all other debt collectors. At one point they threatened my husband with a civil law suit if we did not settle the debt with them.
