Narrative (may be redacted).

My taxes are escrowed and paid by my mortage servicer. My real estate taxes which are due on XXXX/XXXX/2015 have not been paid. I received a past due notice from the County which I forwarded by email to the tax department of my loan servicer. I also left two messages on their online banking messaging system that have not been responded to. I finally made a call to the company and simply asked for a confirmation email that the taxes would be paid before the past due date and that they would be responsible for any late charges resulting from a late payment. The customer service rep said they could not do that and to " trust them ''. I do n't know if they will pay the taxes on time or not and if they do n't I have no record of my conversation and it will be my word against theirs in any dispute over late charges. Very poor customer service. And are there not standards for the length of time between a request is made and a response is given. I made a request over their online messaging service over two weeks ago and have received no response in writing notwithstanding the following automated message received in response to my inquiry : '' Your message has been submitted successfully and has been referred to the appropriate area for review. We will make every effort to provide a response to your inquiry as promptly as possible. In any event, we will do so within the time limit required by law '' So what is the time limit required by law??
