XXXX sent a " kill code " that destroyed my bought and paid forDVR player. I was required to purchase my DVR because XXXX said that I did n't qualify for a free one, I had to pay XXXX USD for my DVR. Not only did they kill my DVR on XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX XXXX, there was no outstanding balance on my account. XXXX stopped providing service in XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX I received a bill for XXXX USD for services allegedly provided XX/XX/XXXX, how? They required me to first purchase a DVR, then killed that DVR and then charged me for services I could not have received. When I refused to pay for services not delivered, XXXX illegally turned my account over to collection which severely affected my credit score. My score dropped XXXX points.
