have an ongoing case ( XXXX ). I am a victim of a fraudulent car loan. The vehicle I purchased throu h have Gateway One Finance is a Lemon vehicle and is not sellable. The partial response received from Gateway One through CFPB was the first written response to my situation with the lender. I was told as I stated in my previous complant filing by XXXX at Gateway One that they do not send written notification of a fraud investigation and their findings to their customer. In Gateway One 's response, they sated that they have been reporting to the credit bureau that my account in a dispute status. This is absolutely not true. This instuition is now damaging my credit report by reporting late payments. The statement that the representative wrote in response to my CFPB complaint is about reporting dispute status is just another deceptive practice used by this institution and is steadily causing damage in my financial and credit situation.
