Complaint #1634283 submitted on 10/31/2015 relating to Experian. Complaint relates to Credit reporting - Credit reporting company's investigation Problem with statement of dispute.
Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Saturday 31st October 2015.
My vehicle was stolen and crashed. XXXX XXXX, Pa law firm represented the insurance company. XXXX XXXX court dockets show a summons issued for me was Returned Unserved-Does Not Reside At The Address Given ( By XXXX XXXX to the XXXX 's office for service ) I learned about this when I received a letter that they had ordered my driver license suspended. I contacted XXXX XXXX law firm and was told the summons was signed for by the person who stole and crashed my car mother ( AT THEIR ADDRESS ) I never resided at their address, nor did I communicate or have contact with them. Although, I never had knowledge of a court date this is the information XXXX law firm used to obtain a XXXX Judgment against me, suspend my driver license and put this judgment on my credit.
As shown in the court docket records I filed with the court to reopen this case and filed a motion to be dismissed from this debt and judgment. XXXX XXXX law firm then provided me with a letter of satisfaction ( no longer holding me responsible to this debt. I filed the letter with the court and with all XXXX credit agencies. Experian is the only credit agency that refuse to remove this from my credit. Stating that a judgment can not be removed simply because it is paid. However, the judgment debt is Not paid. I am NOT the responsible party for this debt and therefore, it was satisfied against me. I mailed all of the necessary documents to all XXXX credit agencies XXXX XXXX and XXXX removed it under the Fair Credit Reporting Act since I am Not the responsible party. The responsible party was later arrested on a warrant for XXXX. He also filed a letter with the court/Judge and with XXXX XXXX law firm, stating that he took my car without my knowledge or permission I sent this information to Experian and still, this judgment on my credit is preventing me from fair credit and fair housing. This is not my debt.
