I placed an order with Classique Homes Furniture ( Phone XXXX ) for furniture ( fireplace and china cabinet ) with my Chase Bank account XXXX, Check # XXXX. Chase Bank is not assisting me with getting a refund for a check fraudulent cashed. I need EVIDENCE of the person who cashed the check, not the signature on the back of the check. In other words, what ID was used, and how does it verify the payee? It has been months, and Chase has not provided those records, as it is evident that Chase has no record of who cashed the check. They have been completely negligent, and refusing to cooperate. Chase refused to reverse the transaction despite my complaints and refund my money in the amount of {$2800.00}. The check was not written to the correct party, and was not cashed by the correct party. This is double fraud.

Chase states that the person who cashed the check is XXXX XXXX only because that is the name on the check. However, they have not proven that it was the person, as there is no identifying documents substantiating this. Even if I wanted to pursue legal action, Chase 's negligence in identifying the payee has prevented that resolution. Chase needs to prove who cashed the check, because the signature is unclear. What Chase need to provide is the AUTHENTIC identity, including identifying documentation that shows who cashed the check. It is Chase Bank 's fault for not identifying the person who cashed my check.
