Narrative (may be redacted).

Several years ago I received in the mail a notice from the XXXX XXXX XXXX for a delinquent debt for a XXXX account. I have NEVER used XXXX. After speaking with a XXXX representative, I was told to email a copy of a completed FTC Complaint and a photo ID to remove the debt from my name. I emailed both of these items to XXXX. This month, about 3 days later, this SAME collection is showing up on my CREDIT REPORT. I have contacted XXXX yet again and was told this account has DIFFERENT social security number affiliated with it. In order to have the collection removed I was told to AGAIN fax a copy of my FTC Complaint, a copy of my credit report, and a copy of a police report showing that I reported this incident. I faxed all of this information to XXXX six days ago and received a fax transmittal confirmation. I called XXXX billing department this morning and was told they have no recorded of receiving this information and that it could take up to 2 weeks so I just needed to be patient. I am incredibly doubtful that sending the same information to XXXX as I did 3 years ago will cause them to take any action towards removing this fraudulent collection from my credit report. I have exhausted all resources I possibly can to clear this up and the Company again is refusing to act. I am attempting to purchase a home and this collection has SERIOUS NEGATIVE IMPACT to my credit score. XXXX is costing me money, time, and effort and there is nothing it seems that will make them take action.
