I purchased a computer for a XXXX that I lost XX/XX/XXXX. The remaining balance on the loan was {$2500.00}. I began receiving several telephone calls, and numerous dates to appear in small claims court from Kohn law firm, XXXX, WI. and XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. Judgement was ordered on XX/XX/XXXX. Telephone calls from XXXX and court dates began XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX. As of XX/XX/XXXX I have paid seven monthly payments to them in the amount of {$990.00}. I explained to them that my husband is ill with XXXX and I am the sole provider for my family at this time. I have gone to court for this several times, and I have sent them a " cease and desist '' letter to stop harassing me with court dates. TODAY XX/XX/XXXX I have been served again for contempt of court. This was for the court date ordered on XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX XXXX. I was there, I have written notes in regard to our conversations with someone who had not even looked at my file before threatening me with the fact that they can send me to court every week or every month if so needed. I asked how can you do this when I have paid you " monthly '' for the last seven months? And will continue to pay until the balance is paid off? Because I would not give him the " name '' of my current employer, ( I am not allowed to receive contact at work, In this day and age anyone and everyone can do a " background '' check. That is how I got my current job ). This is why they sent me to court today. For contempt. He said he would be sending me to court for this. I also sent a " cease and desist '' letter certified mail on XX/XX/XXXX. They signed on XX/XX/XXXX. I am at my witts end with this KOHN law firm. I feel I am being harassed by this company every 45 days. I am going to go to court again and present my case " again '' to the judge, with my notes from the XX/XX/XXXX meeting, my " paid '' receipts to this company, and the numerous harassing they have applied to me. I am filing a complaint with you and with the XXXX ( 4th time ). Is there anything else that you can suggest to get them to stop wasting the tax payers money, adding more money to my balance, wasting the court house and judges time, and my risk of loosing yet another job from this company. ( I lost another job XX/XX/XXXX from having to take time to be in court ) PLEASE help in XXXX. Thank you.
