After explaining the situation on the billing error, they assuredme that if I pay it they will remove it from my credit report. I told them that I was in the process of refinancing my home and that it was critical in order for me to get a good interest rate. They told me they 'd have it done in 3 weeks. At the advice of my banker, I called to confirm this and was told they ca n't remove it.
