Consumer Loan Installment loan

Complaint #1591008 submitted on 10/02/2015 relating to Security Finance. Complaint relates to Consumer Loan Installment loan - Problems when you are unable to pay .

Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Tuesday 6th October 2015.

Narrative (may be redacted).

My husband and I both have a loan through Merit Finance on XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, TX. We have come down on financial hardship and have submitted and been approved for lower payments on our loans. We continually receive phone calls even after payments have been made and if we are one day late they have no problem calling our contacts on our loan and sharing loan amounts, due dates and how much the loans are for.
They come to my residence and have no problem pounding on my door harassing my dog for nearly XXXX minutes. our loan one due on XX/XX/XXXX and someone was knocking on the door by XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX.
The XXXX was one month since our last payment, which was more than the agreed amount on our hardship paperwork, and they have been calling me for nearly two weeks multiple times a day and not identifying themselves in the voicemail. Just name and number to call back.
I am not trying to get out of payment I am just trying to get the harassment to stop. They are very rude. I am afraid to answer the door with the way they pound on my door after they have already called me. I have been a part of one of the sister companies for over 4 years and this is the worst I have ever felt and I should n't have to feel threatened because I am one day late.
