I went to XXXX XXXX and was under the impression I was covered by the insurance program they had me under. They never tried to reach me by phone or send a bill via email which I later found out was because I signed up for no mail. Was n't sure why they did n't try other methods of contact. When the collection agency called, I had knowledge of this charge. I immediately paid XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX/XXXX/15 XXXX and they said that they would take it off the list from the collection agency. Also that it was before the due date of the collection agency to affect my credit score. So they should have never sent it to the credit agencies or reported it. I have the receipt for further proof. They still have not taken it off of my credit report, though I have paid.
