Civil action was taken against me with Heights Finance. Attempting to work with them directly, the company would not answer any questions regarding the account over the phone and were extremely rude each time a call was placed. I paid off the debt completely in XXXX of 2015 and the company is still reporting to the credit bureau 's that the account is open as of XXXX XXXX 2015. I contacted them in an attempt to clear this matter and they refused to speak to me. I believe they are doing this as a form of retaliation.
