On XXXX/XXXX/2016 my human resources manager came to me with concern over a phone call that she received from a " XXXX XXXX '' asking her what our company 's procedure regarding them coming to remove me from the company. I looked at the phone number she had written down and recognized it to be that of a collection agency that I have dealt with in the past regarding a online payday loan with " my next day cash '' I called and spoke with a male who would not let me speak with XXXX XXXX and who went on to describe the debt and informed me that it was check fraud, several attempts to serve me with a warrant had failed, so now they were coming to my job to " remove me '' The debt with " My next day cash '' is 2 years old. The reason that I received a loan from my next day cash is because I had run into some financial difficulties and I needed the help. I was making my payments until I again ran into some financial difficulties with my husband and the IRS. The phone call upset me and the human resources manager as I have told them to stop constantly calling my place of employment. They have my cell number and house number and they also have my email address to contact me. I concur that their collection practices are a violation of the debt collection laws with their blatant threats to incarcerate me and constantly interrupting my place of business, when they were told to stop. I did not get the gentlemen 's name who I spoke with but he informed me that he was with XXXX XXXX and my case number is XXXX. They were calling from XXXX.
