Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Friday 18th September 2015.
Out of the blue Meridian Financial SVC, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, sent me a notice dated XXXX XXXX, 2015 about a claim of {$700.00} that was assigned to Meridian as collection agency ; no proof of a claim was provided ; we needed to respond in 30 days. In a registered letter of XXXX XXXX, 2015, I informed Meridian that we owned a timeshare at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX which we disposed off ten years ago ( XXXX XXXX, 2005 XXXX, and that we disputed that we owed XXXX XXXX any debts. Without sending me proof of this alleged claim, Meridian Financial sent me another letter that I did not dispute the claim (? ) ; I replied on XXXX XXXX that I did dispute the claim and that they needed to stop harassing me or provide proof of any debt owed. Today I was informed that Meridian put on my otherwise XXXX credit report a negative Collection Agency claim of {$700.00}.
