Complaint #1562573 submitted on 09/14/2015 relating to California Business Bureau, Inc.. Complaint relates to Debt collection Medical - Disclosure verification of debt Right to dispute notice not received.
Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Monday 14th September 2015.
Hi, my problem consists in an older case which apparently is the root cause of my credit score is not optimum reflecting my behavior. I found this problem last year when I approached a mortgage broker to qualify for a mortgage. Once he brought up this info ( which is ridiculous as all XXXX totals in {$190.00} and all XXXX were paid in full ).
California Business Bureau ( CBB ) is the credit collection agency which I have tried calling to remove the XXXX collection reports which they in all XXXX cases told me verbally that if paid within a 30 day time limit it would not enter my credit report. I paid all XXXX incidents immediately upon the notification but apparently they did not keep their work. Every time I called them they reject me.
I 'm not very familiar with credit score, however my mortgage broker suggested I should try to fix the score before applying for a mortgage as my score would be significantly higher resulting in a more affordable mortgage - and nobody is in debt nor is the balance in question of significance.
CBB has never notified me about any rights to dispute their filings, hence it was left on my credit report for a while until I found it via the mortgage broker. However I found on the internet someone suggesting to file a dispute with the credit agency. I 'm not sure what to write and who to address, CBB? XXXX? Fico? ...
As I would really like to be able to afford a permanent home for my kids to be raised in, can you provide me some guidance on how to proceed with this, please?
