I received notices from Bank of America that I opened a checking and savings account at the Bank. The following day, I received mail that the Bank closed the newly opened accounts immediately. I never applied to open these accounts at Bank of America. When I visited the branch location on XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, MA today to discuss this issue, XXXX XXXX, Personal Banker of BoA, informed me that my SSN was used to open these accounts. I am a victim of identity theft.
