Had a call from a debt collection agency by the name National Enterprise. This rep/so called manager " XXXX XXXX, Ph. XXXX EXT. XXXX " was so rude and very unprofessional. He intimated that he was calling on behalf of XXXX XXXX and that, my loan is delinquent. I told him, l was currently unemployed and looking for a job and as soon as l find one, l will resume my payments. This guy will not listen to simple explanation! He proceeded to obtain information about my wife. What she does for a living etc, and if l have a XXXX to draw from to pay the debt? He went on to threaten me that, if l do n't pay the debt, l will find myself in a " tight spot ''. I had to finally hung up but he proceeded with few more calls to my home thereafter. Are there no laws protecting citizens who owe student loans anymore? What type of society do we live in now?
