Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Friday 28th August 2015.
The debt is a XXXX bill which I do n't owe doing the time of this electric bill I was homeless living with friends and motels. I sent certified documentation to XXXX XXXX and the collection agency along with a 30 day dispute letter demanding that this be removed from my credit.
I have been getting the run around from the collection agency ( BC Services ) with no response from either. the dispute letter was sent to both parties on XXXX XXXX, 2015. On XXXX XXXX 2015 I call BC service and was told they received my documents and the it was now in there dispute department to call back in two weeks. I did so on XXXX XXXX and was told there was no documentation showing where is living before. This is a false statement by them, records of hotel bills where sent at the same time to both parties. This is the XXXX collection agency in less then a year trying to collect and each XXXX I have sent dispute letter with no response. I feel this practice of holding on to debt for a short period time and then selling to another agency is unethical practice and should be investigated and stop.This has cause me to not get a loan from my credit union.
