I was called a total of 4-5 times in XXXX hours. I was finally able to answer and when I did so the woman on the phone did not state that she was a debt collector nor did she read a mini miranda she informed me of the balance due without verifying any information. when I spoke to the woman she informed me that if I was unable to make a payment by the company she worked for would file suit against me. I also asked her to sent me proof that she had authority to collect on said account and the original agreement in which she told me she could and instead she sent me a letter from her company on company letter head stating what was owed on the account and the original creditors name.
