received a letter from weltman, Weinberg and reis co, lpa saying they are collecting a debt of XXXX dollars for a company called California check cashing. I have never used this type of business and I have no outstanding collections. I have good credit and pay 100 % of the time. I think this is a scam and I do n't know if I should throw the letter away or not.
