Complaint was submitted via Web and sent to the company on Saturday 22nd August 2015.
I was contacted by Becker and Klein stating i owe money on a XXXX XXXX cc. They stated it was from XX/XX/XXXX they threatened to take money straight from my paycheck. I got scared and was not sure if i really did owe and did not want any problems so i started paying. Although i kept feeling i might be getting scammed, they now changed there company name to XXXX XXXX XXXX. I actually paid the whole thing off the total was {$940.00}. My problem now is i asked for something in writing stating that i was paid in full. They said we can send an email and hard copy which would you like. I said both its been over a week and i still have not received my proof of payment. I am now worrying that this was just a scam and not sure what to do next. I have a copy of the original email stating the payment breakdown, and phone numbers i have used to contact them. I also have bank statements with proof of my payment! I will try to call again on Monday but i thought i should reach out just in case this really is a scam. I am a hard working single Mom and would to hate to think i just got scammed. Any help would be highly appreciated.
